Medical Premiums and Deductibles

Healthcare costs are a sensitive issue. While we work hard to negotiate with our partners to control costs, there will be premium increases across all medical plans. Also, per IRS guidelines, the Anthem High Deductible PPO will have a $100 individual and $200 family deductible increase.

Changes to Anthem HMO Plan

The Anthem HMO will have higher medical and prescription copays, a new $150 specialty drug deductible with capped coinsurance, and increased out-of-pocket maximums.

Dental HMO Premiums

The MetLife DHMO will have $1 per month premium increases for employee + spouse and employee + family. Employee and employee + children premiums remain the same.

Voluntary Disability Premiums

Premiums for voluntary disability coverage will increase by 7% for 2027.

HSA and FSA

HSA limits will increase to $4,500 for individuals, $9,000 for families, plus an extra $1,000 catch-up for those 55 and older. Healthcare FSA limit increasing to $3,400 (currently $3,300). For the Dependent Day Care FSA, there will be a contribution limit of $5,000 for Highly Compensated Employees, which are employees who earned $160,000 or more in 2026. This is required by Section 129 of the IRS Code.
